FREE VITAMIN & SUPPLEMENT NEEDS CHECKER
Could your diet have gaps?
Check the risks—not a diagnosis.
This private ten-question checker reviews diet, sunlight, symptoms, absorption, blood loss, pregnancy, training and supplement overlap. It cannot detect a deficiency; only appropriate clinical assessment and testing can do that.
Vitamin & supplement needs
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Food first.
Testing when needed.
Fatigue, weakness, mood changes and poor recovery have many possible causes. This checker routes risk factors and sensible next steps; it never labels symptoms as proof of a vitamin or mineral deficiency.
WHAT THIS CHECKER CAN DO
Risk factors, testing
and safer decisions.
Can symptoms diagnose a vitamin deficiency?
No. Fatigue, low mood, weakness and poor concentration are non-specific. Vitamin B12, folate and iron problems are assessed using symptoms, history and appropriate blood tests.
Why does the checker ask about bleeding?
Heavy periods and other blood loss can cause iron deficiency. Unexplained bleeding needs assessment rather than an affiliate iron product, so this checker deliberately does not sell iron.
What about vitamin D in the UK?
The NHS advises people to consider 10 micrograms daily during autumn and winter. People at higher risk of low vitamin D may need year-round advice, but taking excessive amounts can be harmful.
Are protein powders vitamin supplements?
No. Protein powders are convenient foods for meeting protein targets. They appear only when the answers suggest a practical protein-intake gap alongside regular training.
VITAMIN CHECKER FAQ
Clear limits.
Safer next steps.
Can an online test diagnose a vitamin deficiency?
No. Symptoms and dietary risks overlap with many conditions. Vitamin or mineral deficiency is diagnosed using clinical history and, when appropriate, blood tests.
Which blood tests may be considered?
A clinician may consider a full blood count, ferritin, vitamin B12, folate, vitamin D or other targeted tests. The correct selection depends on symptoms, diet, medicines and medical history.
Should I take iron because I feel tired?
Not automatically. Fatigue has many causes, and unexplained blood loss needs assessment. Ask a GP or pharmacist before using iron as treatment.
How much vitamin D does the NHS recommend?
The NHS says 10 micrograms daily is enough for most adults who choose to supplement and advises not exceeding 100 micrograms daily.
Do affiliate products affect the result?
No. Commercial separation is built in: the checker calculates its health-routing result before optional products are selected. Retail links are clearly labelled and never change a score or next step.
